- Experience: Get to know us... Birch Builders was acquired in 1993 by Bruce Stefonek and Scott Holewinski, longtime colleagues with over 15 years of construction experience. Since that time Birch Builders has been serving Northern Wisconsin as a premier home builder. Over the years Birch Builders, with locations in Rhinelander and Eagle River, has constructed over 300 signature homes in Oneida, Forest, Langlade, Vilas and Lincoln counties, as well as the upper peninsula of Michigan.
Birch Builders, along with Wausau Homes, was recently voted “Best Home Builder in the Northwoods.” For the past ten years Birch Builders has earned Wausau Home’s Outstanding Sales Achievement Award, as well as the Annual Builders Award for being one of the top builders in the country.

We provide our customers with quality craftsmanship from skilled professionals. From the very beginning we can help you select the home and options that are right for you. Our staff will be with you every step of the way, from site review, financing information and interior and exterior consulting to finish construction.
Once the project is underway, our management & field superintendent will carefully monitor & expedite the project ensuring timely completion and careful attention to detail. A team of experienced and respected sub contractors are employed to execute their skills to the highest standards and expectations of Birch Builders, and they are available for customer service long after the project is completed.
