Whole House Solutions: Extend Your Living Space with a Welcoming Porch

Porches are making a comeback—and for good reason. These inviting spaces conjure up thoughts of a simpler time and provide an inviting place to gather with friends, enjoy lunch, watch the kids play, work on your laptop, or linger at the end of the day.
A New Spin on an Old Favorite
Today, porches are viewed as more than a transitional space between the outdoors and the indoors—they are treated as rooms in their own right. Use your porch to set the stage for the rest of your home by incorporating weather-resistant furniture, flooring, lighting and accessories that express your personality and style. Be sure to include luxurious pillows and cushions for added comfort, as well as blinds or an awning for shade. Add a few potted plants or hanging baskets and your porch is ready to enjoy.
Porches…a great way to add beauty, comfort, value and space to your home.
Product Showcase: ...Add drama ...Add character
Imagine your home’s exterior accented with columns, gingerbread, or curved-top shutters. Or a porch railing and balusters that are the talk of the neighborhood. Or perhaps an elaborate door surround with pilasters and a pediment. Imagine your home’s interior decked out with ornate ceiling madallions, crown moulding, tassels and swags.
It’s all possible with optional architectural moulding and millwork from Chemcrest. With a vast array from which to choose, it’s easy to personalize your new Wausau Home inside and out. Have something really unique in mind? Ask your Wausau Home builder about Chemcrest’s custom capabilities.
