The Wausau Homes network of builders works tirelessly to deliver custom quality homes on schedule and on budget.
OUR INDEPENDENT HOME BUILDER NETWORK
If you decide to build a Wausau Home, you will contract with an independent Wausau Homes Builder in your locale. Wausau Homes, Inc. will not be a party to that contract, but will supply the Wausau Homes factory-built components to your local builder to be incorporated into the home. Your independent Wausau Homes Builder will hire the subcontractors and material suppliers to complete the home and work with you every step of the process. Wausau Homes does not guarantee the obligations of your local builder.
Independent Wausau Homes Builders have all required licenses and carry liability insurance. Most Builders are members of local homebuilder associations.
Visit the Design Studio
The design studio is where your vision will come to life. Independent Wausau Homes Builders understand that homebuilding is a complex process and that everyone’s needs are different. You will sit down with your independent Wausau Homes Builder in the Builder’s design studio and discuss your budget, family size, desired square footage, and current home likes and dislikes. Your Builder* will work closely with you to design your home from the inside out.

From Discovery to Move In
Our independent Wausau Homes Builders take great care to listen to and understand the needs of each homebuyer, so that they can provide guidance and support throughout the process. You’ll even be invited to watch your house come to life on Set Day!
