History of the company:
In 1937, a young Al Moen was cleaning up after work and washed his hands at a two-handle faucet. A burst of hot water made him jump back in alarm. This moment of surprise became a moment of inspiration. Al turned his problem into a solution. Two years later, he finalized an invention: a faucet valve to mix hot and cold water together. It was an idea that would revolutionize plumbing. Al led our company, and after 45 years and more than 75 patents he retired in 1982. His commitment to “finding a better way” is as important to our associates today as it was to him over 80 years ago.

How do you see faucets changing in the next couple of years?
With water being an invaluable resource in our world today, it is critical that faucets continue to be able to perform the duties they are meant for while reducing water usage. At Moen, we're committed to designing and producing water-efficient products, without sacrificing performance, which will make a big impact on the environment.
