The sky is the limit. New builders aim for a goal of four homes, but experienced builders will build 14-20 homes per year.

Is there an initial Franchise Fee?

No. There are no upfront or ongoing franchise fees of any kind. Wausau Homes is not a franchise organization.


Are there any ongoing Royalty Fees?

 No. Unlike Franchise Organizations there are no royalty fees of any kind.


Are there any Advertising Fees?

No. There are no advertising fees or funds of any kind. Wausau Homes doesn’t make any money until you start building houses. Your success is in our best interest! We manage a website and generate online leads for your market without any fees. As a Wausau Homes Builder you will be trained how to prepare a marketing plan and be responsible for your own local media and advertising costs.


Do I need any prior industry experience to become a Wausau Homes Builder?

Yes, you or someone on your team should have prior industry experience. We are also looking for candidates or teams that have an entrepreneurial spirit, great people skills, prior management or business ownership experience and a strong commitment to customer service.


What training will I receive?

We will provide comprehensive face-to-face, online, and in-group training sessions prior to the time of your opening, plus ongoing support by a dedicated Wausau Homes Business Development Manager.
